2022 AUSTRALIAN LGBTQ INCLUSION AWARDS
The Australian LGBTQ Inclusion Awards is an event celebrating and awarding Australia’s top organisations for LGBTQ inclusion based on
the results of the Australian Workplace Equality Index (AWEI).
The event is attended by CEO’s, dignitaries, senior executives, HR and diversity practitioners, employee network leaders, and members of LGBTQ employee networks and allies, all which have made a significant impact to LGBTQ inclusion in their workplaces.
The Awards is regarded by many as a must-attend event on the LGBTQ calendar and is widely shared across corporate and personal social media platforms. In addition, it is recognised in both LGBTQ and mainstream media, including via our Media Sponsor SBS.
This year we are thrilled to have Jack Vidgen performing at the event. Jack is a proud member of the LGBTQ community and winner of Australia’s Got Talent. Jack was recently seen on Australian TV screens in ‘The Voice 2019’, ‘America’s Got Talent The Champions 2020’, ‘I’m A celebrity Get Me out of Here 2021’ and ‘The Masked Singer Australia 2021’.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the 2021 event was a little different to previous years, attended by 670 guests in person, with more than 200 guests watching via livestream all around Australia.
Keeping within COVID-19 restrictions to provide a safe environment for all, this event is one surely not to miss, which everyone can enjoy no matter where you’re joining us from.

With restrictions having recently eased, all density limits for venues have now been removed which allows us to host this event at full capacity.

COVID-19 SAFETY MEASURES
We have been working closely with the Hyatt Regency Sydney (a COVID safe venue) to ensure we are taking the appropriate safety measures to host this annual event, aligned with Government restrictions.
Together we are confident that we can host a safe event for those in attendance with extra precautions put in place and a few changes in the way the event will be held.
